The main goal of Action 7 was a strategy for ensuring that all kinds of waste produced by the use of pesticides have the least possible negative impact on the environment. Read More

During Action 10, a prototype system for the calibration of spraying equipment was constructed. This was then trialed on-site, testing and calibrating 32 representative examples of sprayers used on arable crops, which had been previously selected by AEIFORIKI. Read More
Action 11 was a  continuous Action aiming at submitting specific proposals to national bodies of policy making, based on the evaluated results and conclusions that have come from the Project’s implementation. To this end, since the beginning of the project, the EcoPest team had been actively communicating via official correspondence, in order to achieve direct and effective cooperation with national bodies such as: Read More
Action 12 was a continuous Action. It comprised of a number of activities which aimed to raise awareness of the Project and disseminate its results to its target groups (farmers, the general public, and policy makers). The deliverables of this Action were completed according to the project schedule. Read More
Action 13 referred to the monitoring of the Project’s progress, and was a continuous Action. This monitoring was performed by the Leading Beneficiary of the Project and the Steering Committee. Up until 31/12/2010, the Benaki Phytopathological Organization (BPO) was involved in this Action, when it retired from the Project. The monitoring is performed according to all requirements mentioned in the Proposal of the Project and by utilizing the Quality Assurance System of EcoPest. Since 01/01/2011, the monitoring was continued and was effectively implemented by new personnel.  On this basis, the EC approved the second Amendment Request of the Project.
The Deliverable of Action 13 was the series of respective three-month Reports. The implementation of this Action was consistent with the overall Project schedule.
