EcoPest was presented to the 16th Hellenic Congress of Young Growers which was held in the Conference Centre of Ancient Olympia. The programme was presented in the opening session of the congress with main subject ‘Young Growers and Environment’ on September, 3rd . The invitation from the Union to present EcoPest strongly indicates the interest of the new generation of Greek growers on environmental impacts of agriculture. All partners of EcoPest consider that such activities should be continued as a prerequisite for accomplishing a common target –rational use of pesticides and fertilizers at national level–safety for the environment and public health.
