The key objective of EcoPest is to reduce the impact of agricultural activities on the vulnerable ecosystem of the area covered by the Project area. This necessitates the modification and the improvement of agricultural practices currently followed and the development of guidance documents and strategies for each topic addressed during the Project. Useful findings and proposed strategies are being communicated to mandated bodies and regulators to help in the formulation of realistic proposals. Ultimately, these proposals should be taken into consideration as part of the development of the National Action Plan for the sustainable use of pesticides and other pesticides.
